Introduction: It is usually said that Literature is the reflection of the society and the characters and situations are influence by human beings and experiences. Although there are no real monsters in the human society, there are people who exhibit monstrous behaviors. Influenced by those behaviors, writers and poets have created monster or monstrous characters in their writing. Over the years, writers have explored the theme of monsters or monstrous behavior through their texts in different ways. The more such characters are studied, the more one gets to know about the monstrous people around.
